Then & Now

It is absolutely amazing to watch an adorable newborn to grow into even more beautiful. The funny part of my job is I get to guess how pretty the baby will turn into in six months and can never get it right. They are 100% always go above and beyond cute or pretty. Look at this gorgeous baby "C" now~ I bet you will never imagine how beautiful she will be in six months!

How I like to have a perfect portrait studio

Recently, I've been getting more emails from other portrait photographers inquiring if I offer a photography business mentor or teaching. Most of the topics asked include how to run a successful portrait studio, when is the best time to know to have a studio, and if there is any recommended technique to work with families with young children, and more. I am flattered and honored to receive these emails and I am also sorry for not being able to answer all the questions right away. I recently guest posted at a great resource blog for savvy photographers, TiffnBox.Org  by a great portrait photographer Seshu about "5 things to consider when opening your own photography studio" (full post available here)

Mommy and calf humpback whale swimming in Maui, HI - did you know that mother whale swims all the way to warmer and shallow water to give birth to one calf and raises it there for 14 months breastfeeding, teaching swimming, breathing while she starves as there is no food for her until she and her young were able to swim back 3,100 miles back to the north pole? This is an amazing video of the most amazing animal in the planet.
