At this time of the year, I would like to take a moment to embrace the beautiful and grateful year we had and to look forward to a wonderful new year.

At Yellowhale Photography, I loved the opportunities to document growing families and to share a pieces of life every year with our clients and families around. That a year it has been! 2015 was filled with happiness, love, and share from you all. Some of you brought new additions to the families. Some of your little ones came back with new braces. Some of you visited the studio for the first time... Thank you for being part of Yellowhale! 

I am beyond excited about what the new year will bring to you and can not wait to witness the adventures with you.  Cheers to 2016!

I thought it is just right time to post the short movie of my client from few weeks back. When it is fall, especially it is around this time - Thanksgiving, we appreciate more of everything we have. Our kids, family, and friends... are among many others we are thankful for. For me, I am appreciating you today!

It has been a while to post a blog entry. Hope you all had a great year! It has been amazing for me, may be I should say it was an epic spring and summer season. There were many wonderful travels to Europe and an amazing family vacation to Cancun - of course the studio got busier this year looking forward to launching a brand new service early 2016. It came and went in a blink of an eye and now I am working like crazy with fall sessions and making tons of holiday cards already. Today, while I am excited to announce that the remaining 2015 sessions are fully booked, I feel really bummed that I can not take any more of my favorite clients' fall sessions. If you were thinking of booking a session with Yellowhale this year, I do apologize for not being able to add you this time. However, please take this amazing opportunity to book your session in Feb/March 2016 at 50% off of session fee.  

As it is so hard to say good bye to summer (yes, I am STILL holding on to the beautiful memories from our summer vacation...), I am posting one of my favorite sessions from August. I have been documenting this beautiful boy "J" since when he was  in mom's belly. I will be meeting with him again before this year is over.

Watch how he runs around and hear he reads his favorite books, and don't miss him playing golf with his daddy.... This short video just wraps up my heart with beautiful moments. It is such a strong reminder of how much I appreciate being a family photographer to BE THERE with you.

Love is seen

I can not believe the year 2014 will be over within a month. The time seems flying away at the speed of light, before we know it, all the exciting holiday fun and anticipation of now will be remembered as one of those memories. There are still more than ten sessions left to shoot and double amount of shoots to edit this year, I had a unexpected down time (thanks to Thanksgiving day) with family at home. It was the first whole day I was able to spend with my boys cooking, eating, laughing, and playing. As I have been working non stop since September without a break and felt like I had not seen them forever. Just being together recovers me well and even my months long headache has disappeared completely. Love (especially within family members) is so powerful that it can heal everyday stress, tiredness, and anxiety. It is actually the one thing that matters, right? The LOVE I am living everything fulfills my heart. The LOVE I get to experience among my clients' lives gives me the strength. My hope is to convey the greatest LOVE that I see of them through the images I capture to be seen by themselves. Just like the slide show above... I am so thankful for not only living my love of life, but also witnessing LOVE of others'. 

Fun for Fall

Hope all of you are enjoying this beautiful season. I have been going to Georgetown for fall portrait sessions. Editing lots of fun images, but this is one of my favorites. Have fun with your loved ones even when you have busy schedule. Kids will be so happy just to be with you!
